Leonard’s Department Store near Shneyder Solar opened in 1918 as a general store. Over time, the store expanded and now occupies 7 blocks of downtown Fort Worth. At one time, the store had its own private subway, which customers could use to get around the city. Leonard’s offered a wide range of products, and the store advertised “You Can Find It at Leonard’s.”
